New Year’s Eve mission · Case 02

New Year’s Eve at 00:17

The Last Locker

The countdown ended seventeen minutes ago. The station is almost empty when locker 117 clicks open. Inside are six tickets and a recorder playing a conversation none of the crew remembers having together.

Your task

Find who prepared locker 117, how six separate voices became one conversation, why every cue ticket points to a member of the crew and whether the reveal corrected the record or crossed another boundary.

The mission

What opened at 00:17?

Maya, Rowan, Amara, Leo, Samira and Jamie are leaving a New Year’s event at the old station. Then locker 117 opens without anybody touching it. The recorder inside sounds like the six are planning something together - but different background noises prove the lines did not come from one room.

You play the six heroes and follow three paths: the route to the locker, the construction of the recording and the permission to use the voices. Near the finale, six folded private leads eliminate the last alternatives. The case ends with one factual reconstruction and one difficult team judgement.

The six investigators move along a wet, nearly empty railway platform while comparing tickets, a timetable and the locked service route.

Past the last open platform

The clock shows the time. The station plan shows the route.

Somebody prepared the locker before the full crew appeared beneath the main clock. Follow the card access, the service socket and the stored timer - not the loudest suspicion.

How the game works

Three trails meet at locker 117.

There is no host, required audio or required app. The recorder is represented by printed transcript strips, cue marks and production records. Three comic scenes open online or from the included one-file offline HTML.

  1. 01

Print and prepare the station file.

Print pages 1-19 single-sided. Cut the hero cards, six observation slips and six folded private leads. Prepare piles A, B and C without reading the solution.

  2. 02

Open the locker and choose heroes.

Read the opening aloud, examine the six cue tickets and share every hero’s investigation question. In a smaller group, one person holds more than one hero.

  3. 03

    Follow place, voice and permission.

Use the station plan and timeline, match ticket cues to transcript strips, then compare the public relaunch note with original records. At marked checkpoints, enter the printed passcode to open a comic Scene Unlock online or offline.

  4. 04

Open the private leads and judge the act.

Combine all six leads to name the person, method and motive. Decide whether correcting authorship justified making the private test public, then open the 7-page solution file.

Scene Unlocks · online or offline

The evidence stays on paper. The story can break out of it.

At three planned moments, the case file gives you a QR code and a passcode. Scan it to open a full-screen comic scene - never a required answer checker.

  1. 01

    Spoiler-safe by design

A QR link only highlights the right locked card. Nothing opens until the group enters the printed passcode.

  2. 02

    No connection required

Every package also contains one self-contained HTML file with the same scenes, images and gates. Open it in any browser, even offline.

  3. 03

    The printed game remains complete

All evidence needed to solve the case and the full written solution stay in the PDFs. Scene Unlocks add atmosphere, dialogue and a post-verdict payoff.

The six heroes investigate printable tickets, transcripts and a station plan around a waiting-room table after midnight.

Your investigation table

Six tickets. Six voices. One opening time.

Move the cue tickets beside the transcript strips, mark every confirmed location and challenge the public summary with original sources. No recording, app or hidden-room setup is required.
